Creating a bank account in Shine is easy, just follow this guide.

Create a bank account

• Go to Settings (⚙️)
• Select Accounting > Edit chart of accounts
• Click on Create account
   

Enter the basic information

• Select the account type Bank
• Enter the account number within the bank category
• Enter the name of the new bank account (preferably a relevant name such as Operating account)
• You can provide a possible description of the account (e.g. Payment of operating expenses)
• When all information is entered, complete by clicking on Save account

You will then have the option to fill in your bank details.
