If you have connected your bank account to Shines bank reconciliation module, you may have noticed that you need to create a user account with Aiia first. Aiia is our new provider for bank integrations. This guide will help you understand how it works.
Aiia Hub – What Can You Do Here?
You have to create an Aiia account so that you can log in to Aiia’s own interface and manage your bank connections. That interface is called Aiia Hub : https://app.aiia.eu/
Logging into Aiia Hub
When you click the link above, you’ll be taken to a login page.
- Enter the e-mail you used when first setting up your bank connection
- You’ll receive a six-digit one-time code in your email inbox
- Enter that code to log in. Once authenticated, you’ll land on a dashboard screen
Update Bank Transactions Manually
Shine usually imports bank transactions into the reconciliation module three to four times per day. However, if a transaction is missing from the morning update and you’d like to fetch it without waiting, you can manually refresh your bank lines via Aiia Hub:
- After logging in, click on Bank to view all the bank accounts you’ve connected with Shine.
- Select the account you want to update.
- Click Options (or similar).
- Click Update account.
- You may be prompted to log into your bank. Once done, Aiia will update the transactions.
- Return to Shine and reload the page-your newest transactions should now appear.
Remove the Connection to Shine
If you need to fully disconnect Aiia from Shine-perhaps to use a different email-you can do this via Aiia Hub:
In Aiia Hub:
- Navigate to Services
- Click on Ageras
- Use Options to select Remove access, then confirm
Then in Shine:
- Go to Bank
- Select Reconciliation
- Click More, then Bank Settings
- Finally, click on Remove connection
